Dreams Stopped by Dreams

Dreams Stopped by Dreams
Is education prohibited for students who do not have a legal status in the USA, because when they were little their parents brought them here with out them having a choice? Is it their parents fault? Many parents immigrate illegally from other countries seeking a better future for them and for their families bringing along their children. Who usually don't have any other choice. But what happens when their children finish high school and wish to continue their education and go to college, and their dream are stopped because they have to face with the cruel reality that can't continue because of their illegal status here in the USA. What do they do now? They can't go back to their national country for the reason that they were brought here when they were little and they are unfamiliar with that country. The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act or The DREAM Act would help these students to continue their education further more than high school. This act has been debated for nearly seven years "this act would grant conditional legal residency to certain undocumented students, who would then have to complete two years of higher education or military service with in six years to achieve legal residency."
